Freedom III Vessel Building Blocks Completed
03.04.2007At Aker Finnyard in Turku, Finland two blocks were finished on schedule under severe weather conditions (minus 24 centigrades) last month.
The blocks each weigh some 800 tons and are built in two separate elements (PS and SB). Final connection will take place in the dock on the Freedom III vessel. At the moment some 60 Genfer Lloyd co-workers are working at Finnyard under the direction of site manager Gracjan Borowiak. Work leaders are foremen Robert Adamski and Wiktor Brzostek.
