New contracts with Aker Yards
02.01.2008From January 2007 Genfer Lloyd has been working on a project for Aker Yards in Turku, Finland. The project has included the mounting of sections into grand blocks and hull building in the dock of the Freedom Class cruise liners.
We were also involved in the mounting of aluminium superstructures. The cooperation between Genfer Lloyd and Aker Yards has been successful, and we proudly announce that new contracts with Aker Yards have been signed for 2008. This time we will be involved in building the biggest cruise vessel in the world, the Genesis class, which is a prototype project.
