France. New shipyard, new contract.

With the pleasure we inform that on May 14th Genfer Lloyd has signed contract with Aker Yard Lorient SaS Lanester. The shipyard belongs to Aker Group and specializes in smaller passenger ships.

Our scope of work includes prefabrication,3D assembly and welding of section of 3 ferries. Total weight of work is 420 tons of steel. We will work there until the end of 2008. Genfer Lloyd is currently the only non-French company in Aker Yard Lorient and we hope the cooperation will be fruitful for both sides.
