Work in Progress at Soviknes (Aker Yards)
28.03.2006Genfer Lloyd has been present at Soviknes Yard since January this year working on Project V145.
So far the Genfer Lloyd Team has made holes in the tank bottom of the ship and filled them with solid ballast. Pictured is Project Administrator Marek Szymaniak on the helicopter deck of the ship. The Project Team is now busy working on the ROV doors and bulwarks, and has also fitted the crane foundation. With the crane weighing some 90 tons, this had to be done very carefully. The test results were very satisfactory, given that no corrections had to be made. Congratulations to the Genfer Lloyd Team!
