Genfer Lloyd Health and Safety Training in Szczecin
19.04.2006Last week some 20 Genfer Lloyd co-workers took part in an advanced Health and Safety Training Course in Szczecin.
The training consisted of three parts: pre-medical first aid; firefighting; and safety. The pre-medical first aid included basic theory, first aid procedure, analysis of 'as is state' and subsequent '112' call, respiration ('kiss-of-life'), treatment of injuries, etc.font> The firefighting training was performed by a professional fire fighter and included an imaginary fire in a shipyard and practical information on fire fighting. Finally the safety training included issues like eye/hearing protection, work conditions and law requirements.
