Genfer Lloyd’s management has introduced Total Quality Management philosophy. Quality management system in conformace with ISO 9001:2000 standard is a great fulfilment and a basis for continuous improvement of TQM philosophy.

There are five rules regarding Total Quality Management philosophy that Genfer Lloyd management is contuinously promoting through all company areas and crew:

In April 2006 we got Certificate of Quality Management System in conformace with ISO 9001:2000 standard, which approves our best business practices. This implicates that all value is created through processes. This again requires optimal attention and control of all processes, and related technical, administrative, creative and social processes so that we will understand the markets needs and thereby put us in a position to serve the customer in the best possible way.

 

Each business has operational processes that are critical to its strategic objectives. Business improvement relies on our ability to discover strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities. Implementing a Quality Management System helps our company to enhance customer satisfaction, achieve consistency, and improve internal processes. It can minimise the risk that customer expectations are not met. To achieve this goals management of Genfer Lloyd collect and analyse all internal and external information and requirements given by the customer.

 

The customer satisfaction is analysed through the quantity of claims or complaints which shall be 0 and through questionnaires and references given by the customer. All this information is collected by the Quality Manager.

 

Genfer Lloyd´s management also commits itself to provide necessary resources to secure the maintenance and development of the quality system.
